Data Collection
We collect information you provide when creating an account, such as name, email, profile photo, and professional details. We also collect social login data (Google, LinkedIn) if you choose to authenticate with these platforms.
Data Usage
Your data is used exclusively to: (1) Authenticate and manage your account; (2) Facilitate connections between mentors and mentees; (3) Create mentorship events in Google Calendar; (4) Send notifications and communications related to your mentorships; (5) Improve platform experience and security. We never use your data for AI/ML model training or purposes unrelated to mentorship.
Data Sharing
We do not share your personal data with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes. Data is shared only with essential services for platform operation: Supabase (secure storage), Brevo (transactional email delivery), Google (OAuth authentication and calendar event creation), and LinkedIn (OAuth authentication). Each service processes data only for the specific purposes described in this policy.
Emails & Communication
We use your email for essential communications, mentorship notifications, and updates. Emails are sent via Brevo, respecting your privacy and opt-out preferences.
Photos & Visual Content
Profile photos and uploaded images are securely stored in Supabase and used only for identification and profile personalization.
Data Storage
All data is securely stored in Supabase, with access restricted to the Menvo team and following best security practices.
Google Calendar API
We use the Google Calendar API exclusively to create mentorship events when a session is confirmed by the mentor. We create the event in our own calendar and send email invitations to both mentor and mentee. We do NOT access, read, or modify your personal Google Calendar. You only receive an email invitation that you can freely accept or decline. The data used is only: date, time, session duration, and participants' emails.
Mentorship & Interactions
Information about mentorship sessions, reviews, and messages is used to improve the experience and ensure community safety.
Third-Party Services
We use third-party services such as Google (OAuth login and Calendar API), LinkedIn (OAuth login), Supabase (storage), and Brevo (emails). Each service has its own privacy policy and processes data only for the specific purposes described in this policy.
Your Rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time. To exercise your rights or revoke Google Calendar access permissions, contact us at contato@menvo.com.br.
